Hello Wednesday…Welcome to my busy life…
The last week has been a bit chaotic, messy and busy. Discussion have been had, found out a friend had passed away, helped Kelly move into her new house, cute times with a cute boy, trying a bahn mi for the first time, wine tasting, strolling around Nashoba Orchard, picnic on Wachusett.
So last week was up in the air with a direction with said cute boy, but things seem to be jazzy at this exact moment, had a ridiculously good night last night.
Anyways after a stupid Thursday night at the Dive that lead me to being confused and needing to clear things up I started feeling better about things. But overall it was one of those perfect fall nights out at the Dive where the band finally pulled themselves back indoors but it was still okay temps to sit outside. A Thursday out always leads to a Friday in it seems, where I need rest. Friday I got out of work, did some shopping and grabbed dinner at Brew City then home to work on some school work and relax.
As for Saturday I had a promo to work for Straight Talk Wireless, which was horrible at best, as Joe stated I need to stick to hawking booze. Then I went home and completed the rest of the homework I had been putting off for the last few prior evenings, then headed to Kelly’s to help pack the kitchen and unpack the kitchen. Had mentioned to Julie about going to Nick’s that night as Kerri Anderson was going to be performing. So met up with her and Sara around 9:30 to learn that Jim LaPlume had passed away the day before. Jim had went on a couple dates with Julie and one with me. He was currently dating this gal Raven, who was at Nick’s and had been drinking for about 12 hours. The night became somber and as people arrived at Nick’s we notified them of this, what a bummer evening to tell your friends as they walk in that a friend had passed away. He was 2 years older than me, unknown causes at this point, but he did sustain some injuries from being at war, so maybe something to deal with that.
Sunday I had planned to help Kelly all day with moving, we grabbed breakfast at Corner Lunch and then got to work. Two truck loads and pizza & beer later I was done, I headed home around 5ish, and took a solid couple hour nap as I knew Joe was coming over once he got off work. Figured I was allowed a late night as Monday is homework day, so the next day getting out of bed at 11:30 and heading to Vietnam Cafe for bahn mi’s was a great way to start the week. I proceeded to then do homework, followed by knitting with the ladies.
Joe and I had planned to do something yesterday since Tuesdays are one of his days off. So I got out of work at 1:30, got changed, put together a picnic basket of yummy foods and he met me at my house at 2:30. We were going to pick apples but it appears that Nashoba was out of the apples that were ready, imagine they had a super busy weekend of apple picking. So we did the wine tasting as we had planned, then took a long walk around the orchard as it was one of the most beautiful evenings that had been yet. The sun was shining it was gusty winds and not a cloud in the sky. To say the whole time we were at the orchard was ridiculously cute would be an understatement. We then debated where to have a picnic, wine, cheese, chocolate, stuffed grape leaves, loaf of bread and concord grapes. Finally figured we were close enough to Wachusett that we could just head there, so drove up the mountain (which I have never done) looked out from the new observation deck, spent a few minutes being cute and then drove down to a picnic area. Which was awesome and we made sure we made it down the mountain in time so the gate didn’t get shut on us. Got back to Worcester and spent the evening enjoying a beer, chatting and being more ridiculously adorable. I had a really good time, I really enjoy his company, I am liking seeing where this is headed without tons of expectations, which is tough for me. Letting it unfold, I am liking that because I can just keep having good times without the stress, we obviously like spending time together so we take it from there. Part of me is thinking damn I will end up with a job offer that will limit time we could spend together even more, but again a day at a time…I am just really liking my time with him.
Anyways it is Wednesday and I need to jump in the shower then get my butt to work, tonight is homework time…again
Saturday I am heading to Cape Cod Brew Fest to work it with Sara, then hopefully make it to Mike’s Ralf-Fest. Sunday I have a hike in the evening Sunset/Moonrise but first I need to get my allergies under control. Thinking a day hike next Saturday to Lafayette with some NH friends.
