Tuesday 6/21/11: 16th Annual Summer Solstice Moonrise Hike at Wachusett with Worcester Chapter AMC
June 24th thru the 26th: Phoenix Shelter, Maine Woods, (a Working Weekend) with Worcester Chapter AMC
Saturday 7/23/11: Franconia Ridge Hike with Worcester Chapter AMC
I enjoy hiking with the AMC groups, I have met some great people and conversation on a hike can make a bad day on a trail (as if there are many) a great day. I am sure more hikes will be coming up but this is what I have signed up for so far, hoping that May/June Allergies stay at bay so I can breathe.
Also:
May 21st 2011: Brattleboro Brewers Fest, volunteering so may not be able to do spring Cardigan hike.
June 4th and 5th: American Craft Beer Festival , still waiting to see if I am a volunteer this year. Same weekend is the National Trails Day, work on Pine Hill Trail at Wachusett.
July 16th- 22nd- MAINE, I hope to be able to stay the whole week and then head to Fraconia the last day to join the AMC hike, but lets see if I can do Katahdin while in Maine.
August 12th-14th: Tweed River Music Festival , not much better than camping in a field with lots of friends in Vermont listening to music, you would think I am a hippie or something…
