My New Career Move and a Fond Goodbye

I am very happy and a bit nervous. I shouldn’t complain I have a job in a shitty economy, I have a job that would continue to be there as long as I wanted to work it. Maybe I am not a huge fan of some of the structural changes as of late but overall the job has done no harm to me, well maybe mess up my study schedule with nights like tonight when we needed to get 2700 units of vancomyocin out the door after 4pm and I rolled into my parking lot at 7:45 pm. I have learned new skills and felt as if I had a position that was important to the overall success of the organization.

Overall, people were respectful except a few “punks” in the shipping who will not be missed. Part of me is very sad that I will miss out on the growth of the company, I am sure 5 years from now will be something much more than many who work there right now can imagine and I hope by then they go public so I can buy as much stock as I can afford. I will miss my great team of QC’s, very much so. I have learned so much from each of you and you could always make me smile. I am sorry I will not have that comradary in the future. All the QC’s are very talented people who have much to offer and I hope that once the economy gets better you can all expand on this. To the ladies and gents in the shipping department, you guys always kept it interesting. To all the wonderful ladies that work in the clean room that I have come to love, I will miss you very much too.. :)

As for the new job. It is exactly what I want to do, it is everything I could hope for in a team environment working in the HIM department of a hospital. I see tons of growth potential and some fantastic people to mold my career after. I will be the direct liaison for the attorneys at retainer and compliance. I am very excited. I will be working at a hospital in Belmont, great benefits and again what I want to do for career.

I will miss everyone at Ameridose, well maybe not everyone, but most…
