So tonight starts the evenings of a restless boyfriend. In all of my life I have never been a sports fan, well except Basketball due to high scoring fast paced games. But never have I been a die hard of anything in my life. No one can keep my attention and keep me from being bored enough to want to slit my wrist.
I don’t understand the draw for people to idealize anyone. I have never been very attached to anything that is not my own. What I mean is why do people live off other peoples victories or loses. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.
Why do people let it affect them in negative ways, have you ever seen a avid Red Sox fan when the team loses an important game? Not a pretty picture.
Tonight starts the World Series which the team that people hated when they tried to strike like 5 years ago goes against the team with the largest fan base in the country.
The Rockies you could walk up and buy cheap good seats at any game a few years back, pulled themselves out of a hole and made it this far. Interesting!!!!
So wish me luck and patience that I will not let this series drive me nuts. Wish me peace and quiet in a 1 room loft.

Because I am so picky on interior decor. My home is me…I take pride in it.
I have HUGE issues with tacky pet furniture, you know the carpeted “kitty condos”. They are bad taste all around.
So as of late Petco started selling these very modern, will fit with my home decor cat scratchers and condos.

Not to shabby for a decent price, but then today I started looking online some more and came across some more high end kitty furniture at Silver Spoon pet boutique. I feel in love with this kitty “couch”
Look the kitty is a spitting image for my Peanut…..
Way too cute….

What a crazy weekend.
So Friday night we went to the pre season Celtics game at the DCU against the Nets. Well all was good Ray Allen, Kevin Garrent and Paul Pierce were doing what they do the 1st quarter. Then the 2nd quarter they put out a few jokes and the score gets closer.
during half time they announce that they will be cancelling the remainder of the game because of water condensation on the floor…
Can you say a bunch of angry hoodlums. demanding money back ect…..we left before some people got arrested for disturbing the peace.
We headed over to the Dive Bar to have a couple beers. chatted beers with Alec for a few and he pulled out the all coveted Founders Brewery Breakfast Stout oh my it is a Chocolate, kona coffee, oatmeal stout. OH YUMMS.
We had a few drinks to many and Neil was ten sheets to the wind.. must be the fat in my body because one of the beers I had was an aged Belgium beer that was 10% alcohol.
Saturday we went and got the new kitty. Johnny Cakes is sooooooooo cute, very skittish but super cute. Over the course of the weekend he warmed up to me and Peanut got pissed at me. I think for every bit the bitty kitty loves me the more my baby Peanut hates me. Makes me sad that he is angry with me.. He will always be the king of the house
Yesterday it was confirmed my computer is dead….virus infested and not wanting to work. Went to Circuit City and bought myself a new laptop. I will get an external hard drive to move things from the old computer, then get it fixed and use it as a backup. makes me sad but something got a virus into it.
So it is Monday and I am feeling bad that my new baby kitty is in the bathroom all alone but I will go home tonight and bring him into the living room with me..He is soooo cute…But I love my Peanut and want him happy too…

It has been a crazy week.
At work it has been our own two weeks late “Customer Service Week” It was a Fiesta theme so alot of cheesy fun Mexican games, food and so on. I have spent time in Mexico and also having my last two long term relationships in life being with Mexican guys, i tend to giggle a bit at some of the things we do. But over all it is good fun and made the week fly.
I went last night to meet the kitty that Neil and I are adopting. It is the don’t judge a book by it’s cover thing. He is the cutest of kittens. But he is not good with people yet. He was rescued from a feral colony and is very skiddish. This only makes me want him more
So I said yes and we are getting him on Saturday.
As another strange thing here in this part….The weather. It was almost 70 today and the rest of the next week looks like it will be in the 70′s and even hitting 80′s on Monday. It is almost November, I am not going to bitch that it has been to warm to even wear a sweater as of late. But seriously……
Today was all about Lady”beetles” Outside of work there was hundreds flying around, I called Neil while he was at work and his coworkers mentioned when they went for a walk that there was hundreds of them there 50 miles away. Went to the gym and on the news they talked about the lady bug invasion. By this point they are mostly indoors but seems with the weather they are everywhere.

So this weekend was busy yet relaxing.
Saturday we went to Providence for the “Red Bull Soapbox Races” we were suppose to got with Neil’s friend Jenna and her Bf but she was ill so we went alone.
We stayed for about half of the race, being that we were at the bottom curve most of the racers were not even making it past the top of College Hill. So it was slow between racers, like a good 5 minutes between each team.
It was a perfect fall day in Providence, was breezy and sunny.
I then asked Neil to go to Ikea, it has been killing me to have all my dunny’s and other designer toys sitting above where they could not be seen.
So I picked up this:
It looks kick ass in the loft with all my dunnies.
Yesterday we did the normal back to normal Sunday . The Gym, grocery shopping, putting together the case and chillen out..
I LOVE WEEKENDS… We were in bed before 10 last night. refreshed for the 1st time in weeks.
We decided on a kitty to adopt also and hopefully by this coming weekend we will have him. He is super cute.

Each and Everyday I feel working from home would be a better match for my patience.
I use to love to drive, get me in a car and I would do 1,000 miles in a day.
Now I try to drive even less then I need too.
Ok I have major issues with people who do not use directionals, as if they are waving you on to rear end them when they come to a complete halt before making a non -signaled turn.
Next I hate about 90% of AMERICAN truck drivers you know the dick heads of the world that need to state they have a HEMI or that they are built FORD tough. I hate how they think because they are in this big waste of tin that you must stop and move over . Even worse they see my little car and never mind that I am going faster then they are, they pull in front of me doing 20 miles per hour less then me.
I hate people who can’t drive in the god damn rain. We live in New England and a little bit of drizzle is not going to make the roads that dangerous.
I hate when people cross thru parking lots , across parking spaces to get somewhere on the other end. Drive in the lanes…..that is where your car is suppose to be.
I guess living in Worcester I have learned to hate even more drivers and someone is bound and determined they will piss me off. GURRRRRRRRRRR
Go back to driving school people.

See I have a secret, well not so secret crush on “little” cars. My American Toyota Yaris is not small enough for me.
Nissan unleashed its newest concept cars ( I also fall for 90% of the concept cars, please bring some into mass production)
The Pivo 2 which does not need Reverse. It pivots 360 degrees and the tires rotate 90% for easy parking. Has no axles and the four tires each have there own small engine.
Please make this car and please sell it in the US…
This makes the smart car seem sad.
I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!

The Weather even though it something of small talk conversations it is something to talk about as of late.
This past Saturday it was 85 degrees. October and the weather is amazing. Saturday Neil and I wanted to do something outside we headed to Nashoba Winery in Bolton. You know Pick apples, go on the wine tour and buy a few bottles of there yummy fruit wines. A normal FALL activity.
Small problem everyone in Central mass has the same idea, there most have been a thousand people at the orchard. Walk inside to the wine room and the line was 35 people deep. Neil has a lesser tolerance to crowds then me. How the hell did this kid go to raves for so many years without having an anxiety attack
We jetted and headed back to the Woo… had lunch at Peppercorns, I never realized there prizing was hire like it is, but it was tasty. I figured it was more sports bar then fine cuisine.
Neil had this yummy Scallops in Linguine and I had Fish & Chips. Large portions made for doggy bags and not enough room for Ice Cream.
Sunday the weather did a 180, it was cloudy cool and drizzly in the Woo. We got dressed and headed to Neil’s folk to dig some holes, wish his mom a Happy Birthday ( which is today) eat a Clam Boil.
This week the weather looks mild or almost fall like. Still going out and about without a jacket. Long sleeve shirt will do.
Wonder how the weather will be for the “Red Bull Soapbox Races” on Saturday when we head to Providence with Jenna and her mystery man.

I love how no one really knows who I am…
See an email gong around starting with me suggesting to the owners of the building to put some more advertising out so people know that YES THE UNIVERSITY PARK LOFTS are in fact for sale ended with me being Racist or calling someone else that.
I think some people need to get a life and read before they jump the gun.
What was said was Neighbor #1 came back with an email about hating the neighborhood, the building, the train the EVERY GOD DAMN THING THAT MAKES THIS OUR HOME. That all are equal under Gods eyes. (Make me puke right there)
I came back suggesting the diversity of the area was to my liking blah blah blah . And I asked him to cut out the god thing. Then I start getting attacked by a Neighbor #2 stating I was stating that “not all are equal in gods’ eyes”
What I saying is “I do not believe in GOD, I do not worship an image of a man no one has proofed existed, I do not believe in Heaven or Hell. I do not believe in Jesus Christ.”
So if you will attack me over something say I am stupid for my total lack of faith in anyone other then myself. Because no one else has helped me get thru my life, nor has anything been easy for me. I have done it because I believe in myself.
So please fellow neighbor get over yourself. I am far from being raciest or bringing that up. Up until I meet Neil I never even would give the Vanilla White Male a look. I had dated Hispanics (the majority of my life) Black men and a couple Asians (and no they do not all have small penises).
Most white men would not even look at a girl with a Ghetto Booty until it became “cool” to have curves or just even to have a BIG OLD BUTT.
GURRRR I AM DONE and thanks to the couple of neighbors that emailed me to thank me for my response to the GOD BULLSHIT.

I can’t get a tiny little charge that shows up on my background report expunged for another year but Worcester can let non-violent charged inmates out of jail.
So as you may know Neil and I live in the Main South neighborhood. With its ethnically mixed and always alive streets makes life a bit more interesting.
But with news that Worcester County jails will be releasing 100 inmates each month for the next three months to get the prison population down is not what I want to here.
New article in the Worcester Telegram suggest District 4 expects and does not want prison population back into our neighborhood. Increase in drug related crimes is not progress movement.
I think I will be attending the October 18th neighborhood meeting.

Fall is here….Almost
I LOVE FALL. It has been my personal favorite season for most of my life. I always enjoyed the first month of school as a kid and looked forward to the smoked smell of the crisp Autumn leaves.
This year seems to be a tad late with the leaf changing, mostly to the overly warm weather we have had in these parts as of late.
Neil and I spent some time on the roof, peeping at neighbors having the last of the years outdoor get together as we felt the air change. I love New England in the fall. Out in Colorado they just state ” the Aspen are changing” because that by far is the only tree besides some variety of “pine” that takes over the mountainest regions of Colorado. What we have in New England from the many varieties of leaf changing trees.
So hopefully this weekend or next Neil and I will make our way to North Adams…pay a visit to MassMoca, pick some apples, buy some maple syrup and see the views.
Fall also brings people having the time to help others. The neighborhood we live in is sponsoring a Clean Team neighborhood clean up this coming weekend. Starting at 10am at the Boys and Girls Club on Tainter st. I may make my way there if Saturday will be a stay close to home day.
Also there is plenty of Volunteer Opportunities for people who have time and themselves to give.
Worcester’s Earn-A-Bike Program. Help others learn about bike safety, maintenance and building there own bike. Volunteer for 5 hours and you are able to build your own bike to take home. FANTASTIC .
Artichoke Food Co-OP..I have written about them in the past but a store on Main St. that is strictly run by the members. For more information please visit there website.
Pernet Family Health- Always looking for volunteers from skilled labor to food kitchens
Here is the contact for volunteers in Worcester area. I contacted them for a 1 Saturday a month Food Kitchen volunteer opportunity.

If you are looking at staying busy you can also see what the Worcester Chapter of the Appalachian Trail group has for projects going on. They do everything from local park clean ups such as University park to trail building at Wachusett.
Look for different volunteer opportunities on www.idealist.org do a search for what type of work you could offer an organization.
That is my 2 cents for the day…Get out there and GET THINGS DONE.. make Worcester a city to have pride in.
