So last night I was told I had a surprise when I got home from Neil. So I walk in he is like here it is and gives me a small Dunny Series 4 Blind box…. I was like “Ahhhh thanks sweetie, I forgot I wanted to order all of them” Then he goes into the hallway and grabs 2 Newbury Comics bags… With like 18 dunny boxes in it.
SO out of them I had 12 that were not repeats. I will post Neil’s pics of the small but scary Dunny Army….

“Ms. J”,
Thank you for your comment. Here is my view as I step back from my current troubles.
WAIT….Give the lofts and condo market another year. Stay at home, save your money and wait it out.
Here is my updated breakdown:
Fremont Lofts- the 2nd loft building in Worcester started selling back in the end of 2005. From Summer of 2006 to present they have sold maybe another 8 units. They still as I last knew have 19 units available. Neil and I loved them for some time then really started picking apart the cheap flooring ect….the unit on the 4th floor and the back of the 2nd have vaulted ceilings and I do love that. Some felt to “apartmentish” not as much LOFTY. They have a fitness center which is a HUGE plus. The only problem I really have is they refuse to come down in the prices of the units even after a failed attempt at an auction.
University Park Lofts- I am Biased to a point since I live here. The people in the building are great, we all have great hopes for when the building finally sells thru. It is a waiting game.
When the roof deck finally happens it will have something NO ONE in Worcester has a view that stretches to Boston and the west. We all have access up there right now, but the developers are pretty lacks in completing it. The units are a good price in my opinion. I mean 130k for a kick ass unit and if you seen how some of the unit owners have “personalized” theirs you would agree.
Please send me an email I will gladly show you mine.
Also another HUGE plus….UNDERGROUND PARKING. It can be negotiated in your buying offer for less then the 7500 they want to charge per spot. #’s on the website are not the case in this slow house moving market. Neil and I bought two spots and have ample room for our cars and some storage.
Kettle Brook- BEST DESIGN BY FAR !!! But to SMALL. 700 sq feet is fine for a single but not a couple. We did reserve a unit and then backed out of it. They are no where near complete and the 30 “closings” they have scheduled for January I do not believe will happen. They seem to be taking reservations for “phase 2″ but not being done phase 1 it could be awhile.
No matter how well a place markets itself the “economy will always determine sales”
No matter what there Literature states doesn’t mean that is the end result. Hell University Park had the best proposal I have seen back in 2005.. Only half of that came to life… WAIT AND SEE
Winter St Lofts – Above Bocado….WAY TO EXPENSIVE….the one unit under 199k was 3 feet from a brick building with all windows. NO VIEW. TO close to the highway…and parking you needed to pay the town for across the busy street under the 290 bridge.
It is in Kelly Sq- Canal District which is going to be GREAT but these units should have waited.
The Blackstone Lofts on Harding St 70 Winter st . This building was going to be lofts developed by someone else then they foreclosed on the building. A new developer bought it a year ago and wants to finish it. BAD TIMING. I think they will have more issues then existing lofts in the city of Worcester. Rumor from a friend who works at Bocado is that they are putting 4k sq foot units on the top floor.. Selling in the 400k price range. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE.
Here is the model unit ad states “Awesome soho lofts & 1-3 bed condo’s ready to be customized. In the center of the new blackstone canal district! Video intercom system to beautiful foyer! Units feature brick, natural wood, granite, marble, hvac, data wire & master suites w/jacuzzi. Tons of character! Mixed use community building w/restaurants, fitness room, roof deck, community room, golf studio & so much more! Includes 2 parking spaces & additional storage! Walk to shrewsbury st, union station & downtown worc. Avail. 2/08 “
Biscuit Lofts. They where the first and the only way you get one is to buy one a owner is selling. Close to Shrewsbury St, but as you see the future of Worcester is the Canal District and buy now in that area cheap and wait it out.
But my advise to anyone is wait it out….Another year, see where the market goes and who really is selling.. This is your investment

MUCH BETTER TASTING THEN UPSHOT
Very sweet in that Splenda type way. This 2 ounce bottle only has 8 calories where as the Upshot has 40.
This I can drink, non medicine taste, more like Kool-Aid.
The UpShot yesterday did nothing on the 1st one, but the 2nd one I took later in the afternoon before working out gave me the energy to work out and not pass out once I got home.
I give 5 Hour Energy 3 thumbs up. I think the people who make Upshot need to improve there formula.
Will write later on any ill affects of the 2 ounce of energy I just consumed.

My vision -
I want to see my Neighborhood” expand, be all the city of Worcester and it’s residents have hoped for it to be.
Living on the corner of Grand & Illinois you see one of the old Crompton & Knowles factory buildings being used for Moving companies, furniture refinishers and some kind of computer company. I would love to see the Tainter St. area be what it should be. What happened once the Worcester Artist Group moved there headquarters into the old Tainter St. location.
The buildings are beautiful in their own way. Sturdy brick buildings in need of asbestos removal and new windows.
I would love to have the money to transform these buildings into Shops, Offices ect. How cool would it be to step out of my home @ University Park Lofts and walk 500 feet to the store front that Neil & I could have.
There is the very nicely taken care of ( at least from the outside) The Royal Worcester Apartments, this building was the Royal Worcester Corset Factory. How cool is that?
I have many dreams for this city we call Worcester. I love Worcester! I love the people that make it as diverse as it is. I just want to see growth and upward movement.

Also known as Kelly Square. The area brings memories to me of the dozens of Bakeries that use to exist here, the stories of my moms about the Sunday trips to Worcester when she was a child to get fresh baked goods.
Now it is this upward moving area. With new restaurants and bars, shops coming soon.
There is two developments of “lofts” going in. One above Bocado and the other on Harding St.
You can walk to Blackstone Tap for a cheap drink and bar food, they will also put an order in for you at the pizza place across the street. You can go to Wings over Worcester for a late Friday night snack, Go to Hotel Vernon for the “dive” bar feel.
You have great places such as Bocado- Spanish Tapas are my fav, Block 5 Bistro for a Sunday Pajama Brunch.
Each day something new is popping up and makes me jealous that I am still 1 mile from there.

I am going to take the test. All 2.5 ounces of Upshot is suggested to be the World’s Smallest ( well 5 Hour Energy is the same size) Strongest energy drink. This little bottle contains 200 Mg of Caffeine.
States on the website that it can also be BLENDED SHAKEN AND STIRRED. They are in the middle of a college tour, but sitting here in the office is not the time to mix my Fruit flavored Upshot with some Vodka.
Ok here I go……
Half the bottle down… Taste like children’s cough medicine, but with no carbonation it goes down quickly…..
Ok here’s to the 2nd half ….
Yeah Cough Medicine…
I will write a follow up to this posting on the “effects” of Upshot.

So the newest issue of “Cooking Light” magazine had this wonderful looking “Chicken Pot Pie” on it. YUM
I have never ventured towards items that end up in a casserole dish. To me that was to “Mom” like. I preferred making a Goat Cheese stuffed Pork Loin with Asparagus glazed in a Balsamic dressing.
So I looked over the ingredients and a brief look at the prep work needed on Friday and decided that I was going to make my first Chicken Pot Pie.
Of course I hate following recipes and feel I can make a much better combination. I use them as a guide point but I put myself to work last night. I am the “pinch of this” “pinch of that” type of person.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast boneless/skinless cut into bit sized pieces
1 Large Sweet Potato peeled & cut into small pieces
4 mid sized red potatoes cut into small pieces
1 can of Laseur Peas
½ a red onion chopped up
About 12 Baby Bell Mushrooms sliced
1 large can/container of FAT FREE Chicken Broth
2/3 cup of FLOUR
1 ¼ cups of SKIM MILK
1 roll of Pillsbury Croissant rolls (you can use whatever type of “pastry” topping you like, I loved it with this)
1 VERY LARGE SAUCE PAN or Dutch oven
9×13 Casserole dish
Salt
Pepper
Fresh Parsley
I REALLY CHANGED A LOT ON THIS BUT IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD
To start with: Preheat oven to 400 degrees
*Bring 3 cups FF Chicken Broth to a boil (I lightly salted, parsley and peppered the broth)
*Add Veggies next – I added the Potato, Sweet Potatoes, Onion, Peas and Mushrooms
*You lower your heat and cook for 6 minutes
*Then you add your chicken, cover and cook for 5-10 minutes, when the chicken is complete. In small bite sized pieces 5 minutes over a medium heat should be good.
* Next you use a slatted spoon and take out all the veggies and chicken, place in a bowl
* At this time you want to measure out your flour and Milk, you will put the flour in a bowl and slowly add milk, whisking to make a smooth mixture.
* You then over a low heat add your flour/milk mixture with the broth. Stirring frequently until the sauce thickens.
* Then add the veggies and chicken back in the mixture.
Season to Taste
* Pour the mixture into casserole dish.
* Then make “crust” for the top. I took the rolled Croissant rolls apart and laid them on the top to make a complete topping for the “pie”
* Bake for 16-18 minutes or until the “crust” you choose is browned and the pie is bubbly.
Let cool….Cut and ENJOY.
Low Fat and Delicious !!!!

To market my home , a lot of negative energy has been zooming around “21 Illinois st” the past few weeks.
Reasons it is a great place to live:
1. The units are industrial, fun and BEAUTIFUL
—– Who can resist concrete floors
2. The current unit owners kick ass
—– We all get along and all love our units
3. Underground Garage parking
—January need I say more
4. You live across from a BIG park
5. The price is RIGHT
——With units starting around 130k almost anyone can afford
6. VIEWS
—- from each unit and from the Roof
Please feel free to email me with any questions, since the owners are not doing very well with marketing. I believe a lot of people in Worcester are looking at buying. There is plenty of good credit, young people who want a home to call themselves.

I am in Pain….
Not sure what the hell is going on with my old lady knees but Saturday night we went to see Aesop at the Living Room,we left before he was done.
Blockhead opened the show at the 9pm time frame, then the sorry excuse for a band Octopus Project ( one band that is great in the studio and BAD live)
Then by the time Aesop & rob Sonic came out I was in pain, I couldn’t keep standing and annoyed.
We stayed for like 8 tracks then left.
I hated leaving but I was in pain. I think the concrete floors in the loft have alot to do with achy knees.
Yesterday Neil and I signed up at the gym, I am tired of nothing fitting and wearing the same 5 outfits. I need to get HOT again.
So that is about it. TIRED & MONDAY..

So only my 2nd time going to the “new” Dive Bar. I am overly impressed and loving easy access to good beer.
I have always been a lover of good, hearty, tasteful brews. I spent alot of time in my early 20′s traveling to breweries to see the “underground” world of Micro brews.
Last night he has a BBC Traditional Ale in a cask. Very good, refreshing yet “hearty” enough to have the meal taste afterwards.
Then 2 pints later of Berkshire Brewery’s Coffeehouse Porter. Seriously I could drink this at 7am on a Sunday morning.
Go pay Alec a visit…..Enjoy Good Beer

Not being the biggest fan of the new type of pop rock out there or whatever the hell you want to call it. I like straight up beats, I have most of my life. I do not pay attention to the Fall out Boys of the world.
But one group I have liked, maybe due to the songs ability to make me sign and bop my head is “Gym Class Heros”
Well Neil doesn’t know but for $12.00 I will go see them next week @ Clark University. Hell walking distance to a show is always good..

Another new bit.
I have decided I do not want to be in sales for ever. So I have decided to see what Penn Foster College can offer me as far as working on my Associates in Science- Computer Science. I plan on registering in the next couple weeks, just figuring out finances and go from there. This is the 1st time that I think money will not be the issue for me not to go to school. Plus being online I can work at my pace ( which is fast) and this will fill the time I have in the evenings.
After I complete this I can continue at Clark for my Bachelors… I have a dream
