I Heart Peanut Butter

Where do I even begin? I am so overdue it isn’t even funny.
Well we moved in last Saturday so been in the new place for a week at this point. Still have a spare room filled with boxes.
We did get the Dining room painted and both have somehow spent a SHIT load of money in the last week.
If you go to the boys blog you can see the pics of the dining room before and after. Today will be painting the bathrooms, and living room. We are still lost to what paint the kitchen…That will be next.
Slowly but surly we are making it OUR home.
Two more days off and then back to work..JOY
How can I work when I have so much to do here.
anyway just touching base…..off t tape off the walls in the bathroom…

I am finally excited.
About the move, about the purchase of a first home, about decorating and having a spot that we can make our own.
We move in just a couple days, a place we fell in love with, a place where I will be able to have many a evenings of friends and laughter.
I am off work from this Friday afternoon until January 2nd, so I have plenty of time to get things going. Painting for the walls will be project #1.
Thinking a Brick red and charcoal grey in the 1/2 bath since Neil suggested we take pics of street art, graffiti and so much more to decorate the walls. I think we need to get them put onto canvas.
Then a warm Tuscan Coffee brown for the dining room, it makes it a shape contrast to the beige/sage trim.
So that is where we begin. I am very much excited to get the moving part over with. We have almost no help to load the Uhaul and tons to unload it.
We will be without Internet from this Friday until Tuesday but we will be super busy and between our folks house that I think we will get by.
Anywho need to keep this short right now, will keep and update.

The past week has been one of the most stressful weeks of my life, from not knowing where we stand on the Purchase & Sales Agreement, the Condo docs or the closing. Tonight we finally sign the P&S, yes 11 days later then what was set of the offer to purchase. Spending a good part of my free time and not so free time on the phone with either the Attorney, the realtor or the mortgage guy.
But things are finally moving in the right direction and my levels of stress has dropped to about the middle.
We move next weekend. This is it, we are buying this place and we are moving in next weekend.
Excited yes very much never did i truly think I would own anything at this point in my life, I always hoped but it seemed like I never could get things going in the right direction in my life.
So soon will be the housewarming party. Oh yeah

I wrote a week ago and here I am again.
Been super busy and somewhat in a state of ” I don’t know what the hell is going on”
I know no one has ever said buying a house is easy, but they wanted to break us in with our first home.
Comes down to the seller and still being wet behind the ears of the real estate investing world. Things are not ready and the closing will be pushed out, I mean if you are planning on selling a place wouldn’t you have all your ducks in a row before moving forward. Part of me thinks he wants us to back out of the deal, because the MLS listing is completey gone offline so he thinks we back out then he has the time he wants to get things done.
I want this place, there isn’t much else out there in the price range we want to stay in and I find myself looking at other places but UPING the max cost up in hopes that a hidden gem would apprear and we could talk them down a few thousand.

Working tonight at the warehouse sale, seems with the crazy amount of hours I am working I have no time for my find the BLOG.

So Neil and I are living happily ever after with no living room furniture.
We seemed to get alot done yesterday clearing out the small bedroom and purging a great deal of BS we do not want to move into a new home.
See this is my dilemma I do not want to move any junk into the new home but in the same sense there is SOOOOO much shit packed ready to be loaded onto a Uhaul come December 23rd.

See Neil writes about the inspection and I can write about the mortgage dealing issues since I am point 1 contact for all the BS.
Seems the sellers attorney can’t get on the ball and now we may have to extend the signing on the P&S by a day. We are hoping to close on the 21st of December. So I get an email from my our attorney that he just spoke with the sellers lawyer on Friday and he wants to make sure it is a good and sound contract. I double checked with our realtor to make sure she gave the punch list to the seller and we are golden..
There is alot of people pointing saying go to someone else, this is my first time buying a home . I DON”T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. I swear we will be seasoned pros when it comes to home number 2. We will make it as easy as “House Hunters” .
But for the most part things are coming along, just hope that everyone is on top of things like myself.

So in Crystal’s hastiness of needing to rid the house of anything we are not moving, I put an ad on CL ( don’t tell the Want Ad) and found a home for the Couch and Loveseat and the Tv stand, coffee table and side table. Made 500 in the process, so that is money to go to a new cutains, rugs and so on in the new home.
Still going to sell the bed and a big bookcase to my folks, Tv to whom ever wants a perfectly good tv and so on……
But the house is Sooooooooooooooooooooooo bare
