So tonight the big excitement was the trip to the IMAX to see Happy Feet. Back in March I wrote a post all about my learned knowledge of this great CA cartoon/real video footage.
It was fantastic . Seeing as the many sexual suggestions of the Emperor Penguins come out in the movie. I was almost surprised it wasn’t rated PG-13.
But my love was for Baby Mumbles and Little Gloria , from the minute she taps on his egg to get him to come around til the end when they have their own little Baby Penguin it is wonderful.
The final outcome of the movie being a very political/environmental makes for a learning experience and appreciation.
But message or no message Baby Mumbles was lovable and adorable and Grown up Mumbles is honest, kind and still very cute.
He was different but in every way that is good.
My ending thought is this is the best movie of the year. I know people will disagree but in a year if so much negative it is great to have an empowering and truly joyful movie.
This movie gets an A+++
